Ms. Matilde M. Castillo Jiménez is 58 years old and lives with her husband  Mr. Felicito de la Altagracia Villar Guerrero.  They have three children (two sons, who are 39 and 31 years old, and a 37-year-old daughter).  Each of their children has his or her own family.  Matilde and her husband own a house, which they acquired in 1988 and they gitted to their daughter.  Matilde and her husband now live in a rental home.

In 1989, Ms. Matilde started her own business producing bedspreads and upholstery for furniture.  Over the years Matilde has managed the business with the support of her husband.  They expanded the business in 1993 selling craft items  

In 1994, Matilde received her first loan from ADOPEM.  Since then, she has qualified for seven additional loans (see loan history).  Matilde has built up an excellent credit history with ADOPEM.  Her vision for the future is to buy a home where she can live with her husband and from which they can conduct their business.
